About Me

Oh hey there!
I am a poet, storyteller, creative producer and educator
with over eight years’ experience producing factual television and children’s content for broadcasters
including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and CBBC.
Across broadcast, poetry and education, my practice is grounded in the transformative power of amplifying lived experience through visual and spoken storytelling,
elevating creativity as an accessible route into
enhancing learning and nurturing both self-expression
and community engagement.

With me, inclusivity isn’t an afterthought!
It’s an anchor for connection, belonging and discovery.
I believe poetry-led storytelling offers a holistic way into conversations, subjects, challenges and celebrations that deserve creative insight, but don’t always receive that care. My developing pedagogical approach uses rhythm, rhyme, repetition, visual storytelling, interactivity and play to create alternative ways of encountering, remembering and connecting ideas.

Why? Because fostering collaborative environments that give people permission to reflect, question and discover
at a pace that honours our human need for connection,
is essential.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of workshops
do you offer?

My poetry-led workshops span schools and educational settings, community groups, and parent-and-child creative writing experiences.  Each session/programme is closely tailored, using storytelling, conversation, sensory prompts, writing development and participation to explore ideas, strengthen connection and create space for self-expression.

Are you currently accepting commissions?

Absolutely. From mental health to sisterhood, in my memory of pieces to cultural pride, i’m open to conversations that seek to shape or unlock new modes of storytelling. Whether you have a fully formed brief or just the beginnings of an idea, do plant the seed.
